Place two lower straps (with black buckles) around pet's chest and under front legs. Adjust strap(s) to fit comfortably and fasten buckles on both sides. Attach leash to silver d-ring. For car seat use, enter car seat belt through nylon loop located on the upper strap, and fasten. Note: For X-Small and Small size harnesses, the upper strap is elastic.
